ILC DETECTOR R&D REVIEW MEETING

 

June 19-20, 2007

Argonne National Laboratory

 

 

            As most of you are aware, Argonne will be the host for the upcoming ILC Detector R&D Review Meeting which will take place on June 19-20, 2007.

 

            The meeting will be held in the High Energy Physics Division (Bldg. 362) in Room F108.  An agenda will be forthcoming.

 

            A block of rooms has been reserved at the ANL Guest House for June 18-20 at the rate of $70/night.  Reservations can be made by calling 800-632-8990 or 630-739-6000.  When making reservations, please refer to “ILC Detector R&D Review”.  The cutoff date for the room block is June 4.  Lodging can also be found off-site at several nearby hotels:  U:\www\Off-site Lodging.html.  Directions to Argonne from O’Hare and Midway airports can also be found at:  http://www.anl.gov/Visiting/anlil.html.

 

 

            Argonne is a secure site and requires entrance approval.  For US citizens, simply provide us with your name and institute for entrance.  If you are not a US citizen, the following information is required at least seven days in advance of the review:

If no visa information is available, you must provide number and expiration date from Federal backup forms of ID, i.e. I-94, I-727, I-20.  All those holding J-1 visas must also provide DS2019 info.

 

            Wireless networking will be available for laptop computers.  If you plan to connect using a laptop, please provide the MAC address(es) network and hardware address) in advance.
